The 6904 2RS is found in the newer generation of Tacx and Elite trainers. It’s a thin-section bearing with double rubber seals — designed for applications where space is limited but reliability is critical.
If your trainer has done a couple of seasons of regular use, the bearings will be due for replacement. Fresh bearings make a noticeable difference to noise levels and power accuracy.
