FAQ
Q: How should I package my trainer?
A: The original packaging is always the best.
Q: What warranty do you give with repairs and servicing?
A: We stand by the quality of our work, all repairs and services have a 3 month warranty.
Q: I see you buy old trainers, how much do you buy them for?
A: We offer a flat fee of £75 for smart trainers assuming they are complete units. We will also cover the shipping fee.
Q: What is your turnaround time?
A: It’s normally a couple of days but could extend to a couple of weeks depending on workload. See the home page for a regularly updated turnaround time.
Q: I connected the wrong power supply to my Kickr, now it doesn’t work. What is the prognosis?
A: It’s not necessarily game over but without having the trainer and power supply to hand it’s hard to give an accurate diagnosis.
Q: How much should I expect to spend on a service?
A: We’d normally expect to replace a few bearings as part of a service so maybe £100-£130 or so is an average. Things can get expensive once we start replacing flywheel shafts etc. If it’s looking like the price is approaching the cost of one of our reconditioned units, then we’d discuss the best plan of action which may be to part exchange your trainer in for a reconditioned one.
Q: Where are you based?
A: Bristol.
